INTERNATIONAL EMPLOYEE INTEGRATION
From arriving to belonging.
Bringing an international professional to Germany is only the first step.

For employees to stay long-term and contribute fully, they also need to feel understood, safe, and that they belong.
My integration coaching supports international employees and existing teams throughout this transition — personally, individually, and over a longer period of time, for example through:
3-Month-Integration Coaching – For a strong start, both professionally and personally.
The first few months in a new country are full of change.
What may seem straight forward on paper can feel very different in everyday life.
In individual coaching, we can address topics such as:
- expectations and reality, cultural misunderstandings and moments of discomfort, frustration and homesickness, communication with colleagues and managers, navigating different ways of working, conflicts and misunderstandings, social connections and friendships, belonging and personal identity, challenges beyond the workplace
The goal is not to “adapt” the employee to their new environment.
Instead, we explore together what they need to navigate their new surroundings with confidence and find their own place.
If desired, the company can also receive feedback on structural issues that may be emerging.
6-Month Integration Partnership – For sustainable integration — not just completed formalities.
It is often only after the first few months that deeper challenges begin to emerge:
The initial excitement has faded. First misunderstandings arise. The social network is still missing. The workplace culture becomes more familiar — while differences also become more apparent.
Over six months, a continuous, personalized support process provides space to work through these challenges.
The focus can evolve over time:
Arriving → Understanding → Navigating → Connecting → Belonging
Alongside the individual support, your company can — within the agreed framework — receive feedback on which conditions help or hinder international employees in their integration.
This way, both employees and organizations benefit.
+ Add-On: Family Integration – Because unresolved family situations can affect work, too..
International employees often relocate with their partners or families.
When partners or family members struggle to settle into life in Germany, this can often affect the employee’s well-being as well.
The Family Integration Add-on provides support with topics such as:
- Integrating partners and children, Building social connections and finding a sense of community, Job search and career orientation, Finding your way around a new environment, Challenges of everyday family life, Navigating cultural transitions, Different expectations within the family
Because sustainable integration is easier when it’s not just one person, but the whole family, that feels at home
