About Me

Understand people. Connect perspectives. Make encounters possible.

I support international employees and organizations in understanding cultural and interpersonal challenges, finding effective solutions to difficult situations, settling in with one another, and creating genuine connection.

What particularly interests me are the people behind the cultures.

Cultural knowledge can help us better understand unfamiliar patterns of behavior. But do you really behave exactly according to the norms of your culture of origin 24 hours a day?

What I find particularly fascinating about my work is exploring the intersection of cultural influences, the individual person with their own story, personality, needs, and experiences, the assumptions and labels imposed by others, and the common ground we all share as human beings.

My strength lies in looking closely, listening carefully, and bringing different perspectives together to find common ground. I create a space where people feel seen, heard, and taken seriously.

At the same time, I can help the other side understand this perspective.

I don’t just translate between cultures — I translate between people.

My Experiences

My journey in life has repeatedly taken me to places where different worlds and ways of life meet — and where I learned how to build bridges between them.

I have also lived abroad for several years, including two years in Egypt and one year in the United States. These experiences not only gave me an in-depth understanding of other cultures, but also allowed me to experience firsthand what it feels like to live in an environment where many things work differently from what you are used to — and how much effort it can take to truly feel at home and find your place.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Intercultural Social Sciences and am a certified Intercultural Trainer and Intercultural Mediator.

Professionally, I have worked as a migration counselor, as a project coordinator for a preparatory program for refugees entering higher education, and in supporting international students and professionals. Through my diverse professional and volunteer projects, I have developed and facilitated numerous formats that bring together people from different cultural backgrounds.

All of these experiences have shaped one of my core beliefs:

True understanding rarely comes from knowledge about other cultures alone. It grows through personal encounter.

My Ambitions

I want to contribute to a Germany where international employees don’t just find a job, but a place where they can truly settle in, feel at home, and experience a sense of belonging.

Where companies don’t just attract international professionals, but also understand what these people need to settle in successfully, thrive, and stay for the long term.

Ultimately, my aim is not simply to facilitate successful collaboration across cultures, but to foster genuine human connection.

To do this, I combine my professional training and experience with something that cannot be conveyed through certificates alone:

a genuine curiosity about people, empathy, and the ability to bring different perspectives into dialogue.
