CONFLICT RESOLUTION

When Things Get Difficult

International collaboration doesn’t always run smoothly.

An employee withdraws because they feel misunderstood. A manager no longer knows how to address a situation. Or the same misunderstandings keep arising between colleagues, negatively affecting the team atmosphere and productivity.

Get professional support to look at a specific situation from different perspectives, understand the cultural and interpersonal dynamics at play, and identify an appropriate next step — depending on the situation, for example as:

90-Minute Case Consultation – One specific situation. An independent perspective. A clear next step…

Do you have a specific situation that you don’t know how to move forward with?

In a 90-minute consultation, we will explore together:

  • What actually happened?
How do the different people involved experience the situation?
What visible and underlying expectations and attitudes are coming into play? What role do cultural influences and other factors that may have gone unnoticed so far play? What could help improve the situation? What would be a meaningful next step now?

You will receive a professional assessment and a clear, practical perspective on how to move forward.

Case Support – 3 Sessions – When a situation requires more than one conversation…

Some situations cannot be resolved in 90 minutes.

Across three coordinated sessions, we work through a specific situation step by step:

Understand → Clarify → Change

Depending on the situation, this may include individual conversations with those involved, joint clarification meetings, and developing concrete agreements.

The goal is not only to gain a better understanding of the conflict, but to develop a way forward that works for everyone involved.

Complex Case Analysis – When multiple perspectives, people, and dynamics come together…

Some situations have developed over a longer period of time and cannot be reduced to a single misunderstanding.

We take a holistic approach to complex cases and consider, among other things:

  • the perspectives of those involved
  • communication patterns, cultural influences, mutual expectations, and personal and interpersonal factors
  • leadership and team dynamics
  • organizational framework conditions

You will receive a structured assessment of the situation, along with concrete recommendations for action.

If needed, we can also facilitate the conversations required to clarify the situation.

Employee Trust Contact – An independent point of contact for international employees when they don’t know where to turn…

Not every concern is immediately discussed with a manager or HR.

Sometimes people first need a safe space to talk through and reflect on a situation:

“I’m not sure if I misunderstood this.”
“I don’t feel comfortable in my team right now.”
“I’m having a problem with my manager and I don’t know how to address it.”

With a neutral, interculturally competent person of trust, your international employees have an accessible opportunity to discuss these situations at an early stage.

This allows misunderstandings and frustrations to be addressed before they develop into larger conflicts.

While respecting the agreed confidentiality, companies can also gain valuable insights into recurring structural barriers within the organization.
